India announced Test squad for one-off Test against Bangladesh

The All-India Senior Selection Committee announced 16 men Test squad for upcoming one-off Test match against Bangladesh at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Hyderabad on 9 February. This test match is going to be a historical moment for India and Bangladesh as Bangladesh are going to play Test match for the first time in India against India. After getting Test Status, Bangladesh visited and played Tests, ODIs or T20I in every test playing countries except India.

India’s 16 Men Test Squad for Bangladesh Test: 

Virat Kohli (Captain), Murali Vijay, KL. Rahul,  Cheteshwar Pujara, Ajinkya Rahane, Karun Nair, Wriddihiman Saha (WK),  R. Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Jayant Yadav,  Umesh Yadav,  Ishant Sharma, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Amit Mishra, Abhinav Mukund, Hardik Pandya. 


India did not invite Bangladesh for playing any format in India due to different circumstances which were not cleared to anyone and besides BCCI’s commitment for arranging matches against Bangladesh was in uncertain. Now the green signal has come up from BCCI. Bangladesh are going to play one-off Test match against India from 9 February to 13 February. The cricket lovers are eagerly waiting for this historical Test.
