How Google Search works!
Whenever we want to know any information or look for any website then we use different types of search engines like Google Search, Bing, Yahoo Search etc. Of them, Google Search engine is the mostly used search engine which is developed by Google.
The main purpose of Google Search is to hunt for text in publicly accessible documents offered by web servers, as opposed to other data, such as images or data contained in databases. It was originally developed by Larry Page and Sergey Brin in 1997. Google Search provides several features beyond searching for words.
Now it’s a question how Google Search works. Google uses automated programs called spiders or crawlers, just like most search engines. Also like other search engines, Google has a large index of keywords and where those words can be found. What sets Google apart is how it ranks search results, which in turn determines the order Google displays results on its search engine results page (SERP). Google uses a trademarked algorithm called Page Rank, which assigns each Web page a relevancy score. To know more about how Google Search works, let’s watch the video.
